Team project visibility

  1. 1.Private Projects: Default for all new projects. Only visible to the creator unless explicitly shared. Creator has full control over who can access.
  2. 2.Team Projects: Visible to all members of the team when shared with "Entire Team" option. Useful for organization-wide resources or announcements.
  3. 3.Group Projects: Visible only to members of specific groups when shared. Ideal for department-specific work or confidential projects.
  4. 4.Shared Projects: Projects explicitly shared with specific individuals. Recipients receive notifications and see the project in their "Shared with Me" section.
  5. 5.Admin Visibility: Team Owners and Admins can view all team projects regardless of visibility settings for governance and oversight.
  6. 6.Default Visibility: Configure team-wide default visibility in Settings > Teams > [Your Team] > Settings.
  7. 7.Changing Visibility: Project owners can change visibility settings at any time from the Share menu.
  8. 8.Archiving: Archived projects maintain their visibility settings but are hidden from active project lists.

Control who can see and access projects within your team using visibility settings. Understanding project visibility helps you maintain appropriate access control and collaboration boundaries.
