Advanced mixer controls

  1. 1.Open the Advanced Mixer: Click "View" β†’ "Advanced Mixer" or press Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + M
  2. 2.Channel Controls: Each track has volume fader (±∞ to +12dB), pan control (L100-Center-R100), solo/mute buttons, record arm, input monitoring
  3. 3.Inserts & Sends: Add up to 8 insert effects per channel. Create send channels for shared reverb, delay, and other effects. Adjust send levels pre or post-fader
  4. 4.Routing & Busses: Group multiple tracks to bus channels for collective processing. Create sub-mixes (drums, vocals, instruments). Route any channel to any bus or output
  5. 5.Automation: Record or draw automation for volume, pan, effect parameters, and send levels. Create curves and precise movements over time. Lock automation to prevent accidental changes
  6. 6.Metering: Visual feedback includes peak meters, RMS meters, LUFS loudness, phase correlation, spectrum analyzer. Set meter scales and ballistics
  7. 7.Groups & VCA: Link multiple channels for simultaneous control while maintaining individual settings. Use VCA faders for flexible group control
  8. 8.Master Section: Stereo output fader, master effects chain, dithering options, output limiter, export bounce
  9. 9.Session Management: Save mixer snapshots, recall presets, A/B compare settings, undo/redo mixer changes independently
