About the Role
Wubble is developing an innovative generative AI music platform targeting businesses aiming to produce content for their social media posts, marketing materials, and more. We are a team of Emmy award winning artists, astrophysicists, technologists and musicians aiming to reimagine the heights of melodic creativity with artificial intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead by example as a hands-on full stack engineer, writing production-grade code daily.
Architect and scale systems with modern frameworks (MERN, Vite/Next.js, Node/Express).
Build and optimize APIs for core music generation features, partner integrations, and public developer tools.
Implement and manage secure authentication and payment flows (Stripe expertise required).
Own development of multiple sub-products: APIs, SDKs, integrations, and enterprise-facing tools.
Run agile development processes (sprints, standups, retros) for high output velocity.
Oversee deployment pipelines, monitoring, and automated testing.
Ensure cloud-native scalability (GCP/AWS) and optimize for high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
What Makes You a Great Fit
3+ years of full-stack development with deep hands-on coding expertise.
Prior experience as a Lead Engineer/Head of Engineering at a startup (0→1 or scale-up experience strongly preferred).
Strong with MERN stack + modern front-end frameworks (Vite, Next.js, etc.).
Expert in payments integration (Stripe billing, subscriptions, usage-based models).
Advanced knowledge of APIs, authentication, and distributed systems.
Cloud deployment and CI/CD fluency (AWS/GCP, GitHub Actions/Jenkins).
Bonus Points
Experience with music/audio tech, AI products, or creative tools.
Knowledge of WebAssembly, real-time systems, or scalable audio pipelines.
